Leaders, on the other hand, develop long-term goals to lead their team into the future. Denny Herzberg notes that although your company is currently successful, it is important to have a strategic plan with a long-range perspective, or the success will be short-lived.
·         Imitation à Innovation. Denny Herzberg states that managers generally imitate what has already been done; however, leaders look for new ways to innovate. Denny Herzberg is convinced that a business will not see growth if they do not look for innovative solutions.
Systems à People. Denny Herzberg notes that managers focus on systems and rules that go along with a company; however, leaders focus on the wellbeing of their staff. Denny Herzberg states that although a rule might say something is right, it might not be conventional for every individual on your team.
